Rebecca Downes Obituary
Rebecca Lynn Downes
Becky was a mother, grandmother (known as 'Mimi') and cherished friend to many.
She is survived by her three daughters, Rory Downes, July (David) Patterson and Jody (Timothy) Gustafson; and her grandchildren, Gwen, Elijah, Grace, Olivia and Isabella. She is also survived by her sisters Bonnie (Gary) Scharmann and Aleda (Keith) James.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, John Allen and Mary Aleda Snyder, and her sister Lois Dian Viveiros.
A celebration of life will be held on April 10, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Snohomish Hope Foursquare church, located at 5002 Bickford Avenue, in Snohomish, WA.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Monroe Gospel Women's Mission.

Dear Rory, July and Jody;
Your Mom was a friend of mine for many years. I am sorry to say I hadn't seen her in years and was surprised to see her passing. We lived next door to each other on 39th Pl SE (we lived in the red house) and you girls all played together. I am the mother of Dawnielle, Heather and Courtney Price. She truly had a wonderful sense of humor and would do anything for anyone. I will cherish the memories of I have of her always. Judi Klaus (Price)

It was always so much fun to go over to your house when we were little. My favorite memory of Aunt Becky was when she learned to sponge paint. There was an explosion of sponge-painted items in the house, including every wall.
I remember when you guys got your giant trampoline and we had a BBQ. She hosted us to a full menu of great summer food!
She was light hearted and fun and whenever we came over she made us feel as if we were her own kids.
It's funny, the things you seem to remember after someone is gone are usually the good things. I love you guys and wish you only happy memories of your mom.

Dear Jody,July and Rory,
Your mom was apart of our life because of
the friendship we had with your grandparents, Alan and Mary Snyder in California. Your Aunt Bonnie became my sister-in-law when she married Gary so in those early years we actually lived across the street from each other. And since my daughter, Janet and your mom were close in age they grew-up together. We have many wonderful memories through the years. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you today. We loved her, too. She will always be in our hearts.

Jody, July and Rory, I don't even know where to begin, your mom was one of the funnest Mom's around. I have so many fond memories of your Mom, everything from shopping on First street to week-night sleepovers to her talking for Bobby the cat. She will be missed greatly.
