November 16, 1951-June 26, 2017 On June 26, 2017 a beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully in Everett, WA. Rick was born on November 16, 1951 in Pasco, WA to Francis and Evalyn Myers. Growing up, Rick lived in the Tri-Cities and graduated from Richland High School. He was a proud graduate of University of Washington and an avid Husky fan. Rick was an employee of Cruikshank Lumber Company and Puget Sound Energy. He was a longtime official with the Snohomish County Basketball Officials Association and the Snohomish County Football Officials Association. His happiest times were spent with family and friends at Lake Chelan and Las Vegas. He loved sports of all kinds – he never passed up a good round of golf, playing fast pitch softball, watching a Mariner's game, or cheering on his Huskies. He is survived by his wife, Ann; his children, Kori and Chris (Stacie); grandson, Jack; his brothers, Robert (Patty), Roger (Lynette), and Dennis (Carolyn); mother-in-law, Ann; brothers-in-law, Charlie (Diane), John (Kay); and 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harold; and his father-in-law, Charles. A reception to celebrate his life will be held at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel at 3003 Colby Avenue, Everett on July 8, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rick's memory to Providence Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County (2731 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 500, Everett, WA 98201); Snohomish County Football Officials Association Scholarship Fund (SCFOA 209 158th ST NW Arlington, WA 98223); or the Snohomish County Basketball Officials Association Scholarship Fund (SCBOA 17628 161st St SE Monroe, WA 98272).
