Robert Lee Holly, born on January 12, 1928 in Reedley, California to Peter and Emma Holly, died on November 20, 2013, at the age 85, in Monroe, Washington. He left his beloved wife, Cora Holly of San Jose, California; his children, Jerry Holly, Janet Hall (Steve), Gary Holly, Greg Holly (Mary), and Gordon Holly; step-children, Darla Kjolhaug, Richard Neeley, and Gary Neeley; eight grandchildren, Angie Rowley, Erika Newhouse, Travis Hall, Holly Hall-Ying, Trevor Holly, Anthony Holly, Timothy Holly, and Nicole Holly; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Robert enlisted in the Navy in August of 1945 and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. He worked in the logging industry most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and flying small aircraft. At his request there will be no funeral service. The family will gather at a later date for a small memorial.
