Robert "Bob" Lemon, 83, of Snohomish, WA passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Bob was born on July 16, 1930 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. In 1951 Bob married the love of his life, Ruth, and moved to Seattle to start their family. Bob and Ruth owned and operated numerous businesses in Snohomish County including 4 Seasons Garden Center. They moved to Snohomish in 1964 where Bob was active in many different organizations including the Kiwanis, Snohomish County Sheriff's Posse, NW Kidney Foundation, Washington Assoc. of Landscape Professionals, Washington State Nurseryman's Assoc., American Legion, and was a lifetime member of the Elks and Elk's Leisure Time Kamping Club. He also started the first 4H mounted drill team in Snohomish County, Caballeros Too. There are enough Bob Lemon stories to fill up twenty Wilbur Smith novels (Bob's favorite author) and his family wishes that everyone remember your favorite story about Bob. Bob's retirement was filled with travel, fishing, golf, casino trips, playing Aces Away with his family, and his favorite pastime, 'Taking a Bob' (nap time). Bob is survived by his loving and caring wife of more than 63 years, Ruth Lemon; his brother, Gordon (Bud) Griffin; his daughters, Nancy Lemon, Peggy Clark (Mark), Cathy Allen (Steve), Cindy Lemon-Hovde (Rod); 12 grandchildren and their spouses and eight great- grandchildren with three more expected later this year; several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews; and many very dear and close friends; and Daisy Mae, his loving Schnauzer.
