Robert "Bob" Morris, age 62, died in Spokane, WA on January 2, 2014, with his daughter by his side. He was born on June 20, 1951, in Everett, and graduated from Cascade High School in 1969. Bob worked as an industrial painter, but his passion was music. He played bass guitar in rock and country bands throughout his life. Bob enjoyed a lively debate about current events. He read widely and had strong political opinions. He will be greatly missed. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Morris; and step-father, Don Briggs. He is survived by his children, Amber (Mark) Guerin of Omaha, Nebraska, Heidi Gardner of Post Falls, Idaho, and Patrick Morris of San Diego, California; as well as 12 grandchildren, Zach, Michelle, April, Paige, Chris, Ryan, Madison, Brandon, Joby, Ethan, Logan, River; his mother, Ethel Briggs of Everett; siblings, Sandy Moser of Raymond, Washington, John Morris of Marysville, Susan Hegedus of Bellevue, and David Briggs of Redmond; and a large extended family. A Memorial Service is set for Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Everett, at the corner of Madison and Cady Road.
