Ronald Davis Obituary

Ronald L. Davis

Ron passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 3, 2011.
Born on March 29, 1949 to Virgil and Pearl Davis in Bellingham, WA, Ron lived in Snohomish, WA for most of his life and worked various jobs. He was drafted into the Army, serving in Vietnam in 1969 to 1972. He loved to fish the rivers and lakes surrounding the Snohomish Valley.
Ron is survived by his wife, Claudine; and his sons, Steven (Crystal), Derick (Becky) and Jarme (Jodi); and daughter, Sonya (Joe). He was proud to say he had 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Ron also had five siblings, Kathy, Joann, Jan, Sheila, and Teri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Judy, and brother, Mike. Ron had numerous friends. A special thank you to Wilbur and Paula Bolyard for always being there for him. The family would like to thank the staff at Emerald Hills and Hospice for the care and kindness they gave Ron.
Please join the family and friends for a Celebration of Life and a potluck dinner at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Garden City Grange at 800 2nd Street, Snohomish, WA.

" What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. "

PAPA You will be missed more than you even know. It was really good just hearing all the nice things that people had to say about you at Emerald Hills... I think you had an bigger impact on
peoples lives than you even thought. There's so many memories I have with you that I'll cherish forever... I couldn't even begin to share all the cool things you showed me and Shawn growing up. And all of our friends probably loved you just as much as we did. It's really hard to let you go papa. You meant alot to everyone.
I'm going to miss you alot.
LOVE SIS.

Family Chain
We never knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Love, Your Children

Ron~ I am not sure how many time I have officially met you, however I know that family is family and when one family member passes no matter how close that you are to them it still a par of the family chain broken.

To all of his immediate family, I am so sorry for the loss that has left a void in your life. However, its not a good-bye its just a see ya 'round. Remember that he is never truly that far away from you. All you have to do is just close your eyes and think of the memories that you have of him and there he will be. He left a large family behind filled with traits of himself within each of you. Those will always keep his spirit alive within the family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
