Ryan Anderson Obituary

Ryan Wade Anderson

Ryan left us unexpectedly on January 26, 2011 at his home in Seattle, WA.
He leaves behind his parents, Richard and Ruth; and his sister, Richelle.
Born on August 18, 1984, Ryan was a proud graduate of Lake Stevens High School's Class of 2002. Taking pride in being a Viking wrestler, he went to state championships his junior and senior years and was a student at the U of W. Ryan loved music, playing the piano and guitar to the delight of all who heard him. The times spent snowboarding, camping and wakeboarding with family and friends will always be remembered and cherished.
Ryan was like a rose, not fully bloomed, cut down too soon.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at his parents' home.

Ryan,
You were a amazing friend. You always had a smile and could light up the room with your great sense of humor. I have many memories of us wakeboarding, snowboarding and skating. Memories that will never be forgotten my friend. I still can't believe your gone but no you were taken for some greater purpose. Until we meet again Buddy.

Rick, Ruth and Richelle
I so sorry for your loss. I spent countless weekends over at your house hanging out with your son. Thank you for your hospitality and I wish you all the best. He will be missed very much.

Ryan,
There was always something that set Ryan apart from the rest of us, and sitting here reading all of these and thinking back on so many memories I figured out what that was. He was more than just kind and caring. Ryan took these words to a whole new level. It was simply in him. I can specifically remember him being this way for the entire 20+ years that I knew him. I feel beyond fortunate for the time we spent together, with not only Ryan but his entire family. You were all so great to me. Thank you.

Well Ryan, I know your up there with a big grin on your face doing something awesome on some sort of board. My only question to you brother, is it a tantrum or a 540? (No such thing as a bad shoulder in heaven!) Save me a seat, and I'll see ya when I get there. Love you and will never forget you.

I miss you so much Ryan. No one told me this news, untill today. I have been hit hard by this. You were one of the greatest people I knew, and your advice in life was always one phone call away. We rode our motorcycles on days off from work, hung out all the time at lunch. I miss you bro, and I always will. Your memories will never be forgotten.

I was shocked and saddened to find Ryan's picture in the paper! Although it's been 18 years since he was in my 3rd grade classroom, I knew his face immediately! As a 3rd grader, he was always so full of life and energy and always had a smile on his face. Reading the guest book gives me a sense of the young man he grew to become, warm, caring, and still full of fun! I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are going through right now. My prayer for you, Ruth, Rick, and Richelle, is the one I prayed as I tied a knot in your prayer quilt last Sunday, that you would feel God's presence, love, strength, and peace beyond understanding.

Ryan, A.K.A.,"RYAN RIP",was a great person to know. he got his nickname "RIP" because he was always down to rip it up and have a good time! i do not think in the six short years we were friends i had a dull moment with the man. we snowboarded, flirted with, chicks, rode motorcycles, went on a road trip down the coast with 2 other mutually close friends down the coast. we went to secret meetings together, lifted weights(he was really strong), and many other things together. it is going to be hard doing all of those things without him for awhile. rest in peace "RYAN RIP"!
