Sten Lovenborg Obituary
Sten "Pops" Lovenborg
Sten was born in Lakeview, Oregon. He graduated from the University of Oregon. He also served in the U.S. Army. Sten was an avid bowler in the Greater Puget Sound area and loved to golf, both on the course and on Golden Tee. He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching the Seattle Mariners. Sten's pride and joy, however, was his son, Jonathan. Jonathan brought Sten the most happiness in his life.
Sten is survived by his son, Jonathan; his sister, Nyla Gilbert and her husband Gerald Gilbert; his niece, Tammy Adams; her three children and four grandchildren; his niece, Becky Lovenborg; her three children and one grandchild; his former wife, Deena Jensen; his stepson, Jeffrey LaMar; his stepdaughter, Amber LaMar; and many close and dear friends.
A celebration of Sten's live will held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of John and Virginia Leeper. For directions, please call 425-485-4225 or 425-280-9618.

Sten, we shared many wonderful times: the US Open in `72, our Saturday Night Live Halloween party, rocking and rolling as we sailed to Victoria on the Princess Margarita and many many rounds of golf. I always loved you.

I light a candle in your honor of you... I will miss you dearly.. going to the hockey game with you and you bought 20 pucks and never won!! Lol.. you will be missed by many!!

Sten...after working with you for 20+ years whenever I hear the song "Grandma got ran over my a reindeer" I think of you, now it will never be the same! Hello....Coniental may I help you???? I agree with Chirs Bush....the versions of his songs were hilarious! I will miss you my friend....thanks for making working at Continental Credit a better place to be everyday!!! Love you and may you rest in peace!

I remember back in 83' Sten showing me the correct way to tie a double windsor. Also his version of Culture Clubs song Karma Chameleon. Sten was a great guy and will be missed.
