I barely knew Vicki but look forward to having that opportunity someday in a better time and place, which she also understood and looked forward to. It's a real promise sure to come and finally, Vicki will be whole and healthy which our creator intended for "every" person originally!!! My sincerest sympathy to the entire family for your great loss. Think in terms of it being Sweet, temporary, peaceful sleep for Vicki. Very Sincerely, Lynn Kienholz (Stanwood congregation)

Aunt Vicki,
Like my sister, I vividly remember time at your house as a young person. Thank you for being easy going, loving and, my favorite trait, artfully funny. Michelle looks like you in this picture! I find myself doing two things this past month: one, wondering what you unearthed through your genealogy research and two, indulging in this section of Jane Kenyon’s poem.
Often I go to bed as soon after dinner
As seems adult
(I mean I try to wait for dark)
In order to push away
From the massive pain in sleep's
Frail wicker coracle.
Thank you for being a loving Aunt. I remember and miss your humor, love, and easy going nature today and always.
Yours,
Sunny

Michelle (and family),
Thank you for sharing your kind and loving mom with me. Over the years I have had the opportunity to get to know you better and better. Each one of you three kids displays different qualities that your mom had. Stay close to eachother and mom will live on through you until we all get to see her again.
Michelle, as I have said before, you set the standard as to how a child should take care of their parent. When I was sitting in there with mom the day she came home from the hospital I told her that she was a good mom and that she had awesome kids and she nodded her head.
Hugs to you all.
Love

Aunt Vic,
you will be so greatly missed. Your were always so quick witted and funny. Some of my favorite memories were hanging out at your house when I was younger. You gave me my first job at Pilchuck Rentals, and we laughed till we cried when I filed over a thousand paper orders wrong. You were an amazing Mother, Grandma, and Aunt. I love you immensely and will miss your beautiful smile.

I did not know sister Whitaker personally. However, I have heard many kinds words about her expressed. I do look forward to meeting, and, getting to know her in the paradise, after the resurrection takes place. I am so sorry for your family's loss. May Jehovah prove to be a God of comfort to you in this difficult time.

Mom, I will always love you... You are the example of what all moms should be I love you so much... I miss you but I am staying strong and sober like you would want me to be... I am going to finish what we started and I will see you again when its time...

While growing up,I knew Vicki as my best friend's "big sister." I remember Vicki's warm smile, twinkling eyes, and quick wit. Vicki was also very giving - and entered into things with joy, whether it was helping us sew a dress, rescuing us when we needed a ride, or unexpectedly emerging from the kitchen with a gourmet creation to share.
Vicki, your sweet warmth and gentle spirit touched my life. Thank you forever.
