Violet Mary Wamsley, 97, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2013 in Edmonds, WA. She was born in Edmonds, WA on September 8, 1916 to George and Carrie (Yost) Astell. She was a member of the Edmonds pioneering Yost family. In addition to being an amazing wife, mother and family matriarch; Violet was a legal secretary, bookkeeper and successful business woman. She lived her entire life personifying the expression "kindness is to do and say the kindest things in the kindest way." Violet is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Willard; three children, Gerald Morse, Patricia Moores, and Jeffrey Wamsley; fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at the Edmonds Conference Center on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the
