Warren Wood Obituary

Warren G. Wood "Woody"

Dec. 7, 1928 - Apr. 20, 2011

Anyone who ever met Woody instantly enjoyed his smile and generous soul.
Woody served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Gunston Hall during nuclear testing in the Bikini Atoll in 1946. He also worked as a retail clerk for 22 years and at Boeing for 12 years.
After being sick most of his adult life from several major strokes, Woody passed away peacefully at Burton Care Center in Burlington, WA.
Woody was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Larry.
He leaves behind a wife of 62 years; a daughter; a son; several grandkids; and great-grandkids.
We will miss him everyday, and also realize Woody (Dad) is no longer suffering, our miracle man is on a new journey with God.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Burton Care Center.
