William Greene Obituary

William "Bill" B. Greene

William "Bill" Bodette Greene, 88, passed away on March 4 at his home in Arizona.
Bill was born in Oroville, CA on June 5, 1922.
Bill spent his younger years in California before being stationed with the Coast Guard in Seattle, WA in the 1940's where he met and married his wife, Shirley.
Bill and Shirley were long time residence of Edmonds, WA where they raised four daughters. Bill reluctantly retired in 1994 and shortly after he and Shirley moved to Arizona.
Bill was a kind and gentle man who was devoted to his family and especially his wife.
Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley; his daughters, Carol Newman (Derek), of Phoenix, AZ, Barbara Whitener (David), of Shelton, WA, Janet Anderson (Rob), of Green Valley, AZ, and Diane Harrington (Mitch), of Keller, TX; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eric Greene, of Santa Cruz, CA and David Menteer, of Calabasas, CA; and two sisters, Gale Shepherd, of Mt. Vernon, WA and Shelly Kaytor, of Manhattan Beach, CA.
By his request there will be no services but your kind thoughts will be appreciated.
Remembrances to the Alzheimer Foundation and Valor Hospice of Green Valley Arizona.
