William Roberts Obituary

William Dale Roberts Sr.

Our Beloved Poppa left us for Heaven on May 17, 2011. He was born May 10, 1938 to William and Mary Roberts at home in Monroe, WA.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Angeline, of 33 years; his father, William; his mother, Mary Roberts; brother, Ron Roberts; and step-son, Allen McFadden.
Bill leaves behind his wife, Helen Roberts, of 16 years; his son, Billy Roberts and daughter-in-law Tammy and daughter Toni Roberts; his step-children, Brenda and Renny Peckman and Tracy and Ranfery Ocampo; his cherished grandchildren, Joey and Jesse Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Brandon and Krystle and Cory and Eric Stafford, Cody Lee and Aranth and Thalia Ocampo; and great-grandkids, Ryliee and Karsyn Roberts and Caleb Stafford. Bill also leaves behind two surviving siblings, his sister, Lavern (Rodney) Nelson and brother, Bobby (Retha) Roberts.
Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from May 1, 1955 to May 1, 1959. He worked for Associated for 26 years delivering pipes all over Washington. Bill enjoyed many things in his life, snowmobiling in Naples, ID, fishing in Montana and road trips all over the country. His biggest joys were his family and friends, he loved having them come to visit so he could share his stories. Sadly cancer took our special man who will be greatly missed by each and every one of us. We love you Poppa.
There will be a celebration of Bill's life Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church, 202 Dickinson, Monroe, WA.
