William Peterson Obituary


William L. Peterson

William went to be with our Lord Jesus on February 18, 2011 at the age of 84. He was born November 20, 1926 to Carl and Pricey Peterson. William attended Queen Anne High School and the University of Washington.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rheo; children, Roberleigh, Hilber, Hilert, and Henri; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his brother, Paul; and many friends.
He served in the US Navy during WWII from 1944 to 1946, and retired from the City of Seattle as the manager of the Fleets and Shop Division in 1978 after 31 years. He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, classical guitar and listening to his stereo.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday March 5 at One Church (formerly Meadowdale Baptist Church), 4900 168th St SW, Lynnwood, WA.

I have known Bill for about 45 years. Bill always seemed bigger than life. I will miss our conversations and his great stories. Bill was a liftime trustee with the UW's VMMC. Bill you will be missed.
