Yvonne Marlene Edwards
Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Palmer; and by their daughters, Kim (Alan) and Lori (Al); her grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Molly and Nolan; and by her sisters, Charlene Kockritz, Geri Nicholson and Ginny Ungerbuehler; as well as many other family members and friends.
Bonnie was born in Longview, Washington to Charles and Cora Emery. She met her high school sweetheart in Kalama, Washington and they married in 1953. She spent some early years of marriage in Alaska before returning to Washington where she worked at J.C. Penney for over 28 years. She loved to cook and sew for her family and would often travel back to Alaska to go halibut fishing and clam digging. Bonnie and Palmer made their winter home in Wellton, Arizona for 14 years.
Some of her favorite things were to do crafts, watch Mariners baseball, and spend time with family, friends and her pets.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Maltby Christian Assembly at 9322 Paradise Lake Road, Snohomish WA.
Memorial donations in memory of Bonnie may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 110 W. Merrell Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85013.

Bonnie has meant a lot to our family over the years. She was a wonderful aunt, friend and confidant. We will miss her dearly!! Our love to everyone.

Bonnie was our sister-in-law.We really loved her. She was so talented with her crafts and sewing. She was a very good cook also. She always brought something yummy to any family gathering.We will miss her dearly. Our love goes out to Palmer, Lori, Kim and families.
