Terry Jacobson of Marysville, WA passed away on September 11, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. He was born December 24, 1947 to Doryce Carlson and Randall Jacobson in Devils Lake, ND. After marrying Barbara Jones in 1967 they moved to Washington where they raised their three children. Terry began his working career at Collins Casket Company building and delivering caskets to local funeral homes, from there he moved into the security field where he was a Security Captain for P.N.C. Security throughout the late 1970's and early 1980's. He recently retired in December 2012 from Dagmars Marina in Everett, WA after over 20 years of employment. Terry enjoyed numerous hunting and fishing trips "back in the day" with his younger brothers and longtime family friends. He was a gun and knife enthusiast, loved collecting eagles and looked forward to his daily conversations with his sisters. He is proceeded in death by his wife of 45 years, Barbara; father, Randall Jacobson; mother, Doryce Jacobson; brother, Ronald Wells; and father-in-law, James Jones. He is survived by his children, Susan Jacobson, Steve Jacobson and Melissa Himple, Malinda and Josh Davis; his grandchildren, Emilio Jacobson, Tynishia Walker, Nicole Doyle, Troy Davis, Cameron Davis; great-grandson, Dashawn Jacobson; sisters, Claire Corbett, Darlene Erichsen, Candace Jacobson; brothers, Randy Jacobson, Tim Jacobson, Lonnie Jacobson, Gary Kopperud; uncle, Bud Carlson; and cousins Byron, Wayne, and Dale Carlson A memorial service will be held at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville, WA on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 12:00 p.m.
