After a 3 year battle with cancer, Marianito (Mario) Acepcion, 66, passed away October 22, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mario was born to Jose and Soccorro Acepcion, on September 16, 1947 in Roxas City, Philippines, where he spent the early years of his life before becoming a Merchant Marine and traveling the world until he came to Washington State. Mario spent 32 years as an Engineer at Boeing doing what he loved. He considered Boeing as his "other home", and the people he worked with his "other family". He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He was kind to everyone and people couldn't help but love him. Mario is survived by his sisters and best friends, Yolanda and Evelyn; children, Mario Jr. and Mariah; and grandsons, Troy and Lloyd. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 2 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 8517 7th Avenue SE, Everett, 98208. Graveside will be at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett, 98203.
