William Lee "Bill" Niclai William Niclai, went to be with his Lord January 20, 2014. Bill was born to Lila and Leo Niclai on April 6, 1957. Bill leaves his children, Daniel Lee Niclai (Michelle) and Tressia Renee Burns (Josh); his sisters, Linda Davis (Mike) and Patty Niclai; brother, Bob Niclai; and grandchildren: Alexis, Sierra, twins, Kainoa and Weston, and was expecting another grandchild in May. Bill also leaves Cheryl Niclai with whom he shared a special bond along with many friends and relatives. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Leo C. Niclai; mother, Lila M. Niclai; and two older brothers, Bruce and Gary. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, golfing, archery, sports and most recently panning for gold. His children enjoyed many hours on the lake, fishing and on the golf course with him. He would often take them camping where they would enjoy horse-back riding, waterslides, golfing, canoeing or whatever activities the area had to offer. Bill had a life-changing accident at the age of 28 but he never let it stop him from doing the things he loved. He liked to travel and explore new places and made lasting friendships wherever he went. He loved animals and would often find a local shelter to adopt a pet. He was an electrician and handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed doing things for others and was relied on by many. Most importantly, Bill was a loving father. He was proud of his children who meant the world to him. Bill had a big heart, was loved by all and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to N.O.A.H., 313 Brandstrom Rd., Stanwood, WA 98292.
