Wilhelm L. Peterson went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, February 24, 2014. Wilhelm was born to Wilhelm and Emma Peterson on October 28, 1943 in Everett, WA. He moved with his family to the County Line area and attended Conway Grade School. He graduated from Stanwood High School in 1961 and then went on to graduate from Skagit Valley College. He attended Western Washington University before he was activated into the Air Force Reserves. Wilhelm served his country in Korea and was honorable discharge in 1971. He then worked at General Chemical in March's Point in Anacortes for 37 and half years. Wilhelm loved to study the Bible and discussing the scriptures with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brother and friends. He fought a long courageous battle with cancer. Wilhelm was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Warren Peterson; and nephew, little Warren Peterson. He leaves behind his brother, Wayne and his wife Nona; many good friends and family. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Fir-Conway Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Ron Deegan officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Kern Funeral Home of Mount Vernon.
