Carolyn Chevalier passed away on February 23, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 12, 1935. When she was a young girl, she moved with her family to Spokane, Washington. She met and married Harry Chevalier and they had three boys. Everett became their home early in life and has remained here ever since. Carolyn spent over five decades lovingly providing licensed child care to many, many children and consequently their children too. Generations of children have loved her. She has recently been recognized as the longest lasting licensed in home daycare provider in Washington State. Carolyn will be forever remembered for her unconditional love for all of humanity. It was only her health that prevented the creation of a documentary of her life long story of service. Carolyn is survived by her two sons: Donald Chevalier and David (Michelle) Chevalier; three grandchildren: Brandi Bock, Tyler Chevalier and Jordon Chevalier; two great grandchildren: Bailee and Brielle Bock. She is preceded in death by her son, Douglas Chevalier; and her mother, Eugenia Lefgren. There will be a brief graveside service at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, March 12, 2014 at 1 p.m.
The Guest Book is expired.
