Loree passed away March 26, 2014 with her loving husband by her side. She was born August 31, 1954 in Seattle, WA to Carl Buchanan and Lavonne Deiner. She grew up in Lynnwood, WA. Loree was married to her husband, John, for almost 28 years. They loved to go camping at Sun Lakes State Park in Eastern Washington, and fishing on their boat with their children. This summer, John and Loree had plans to go to the San Juan Islands on their 28-foot boat. When John asked what Loree wanted to name the boat, she said "Almost Heaven". Mom is now an angel in heaven, watching over her loving family, no longer in pain. She will be watching over her husband wherever he goes. Loree loved crafts, baking, and music. She loved to sing at church and participated in choir, as well as singing at weddings and funerals. She was also very passionate about her guitar and played often when she could. Loree loved her dog, Cash, whom John nicknamed her "bodyguard", as he was fiercely protective of her. She also loved her two cats, Sammy and Charlie. Loree is survived by her husband, John; her children, Aaron Davis, Courtney Droullard (Chris), Colby Droullard (Erika), and Caitlin Babcock (Joe); mother, Lavonne Martin and step-father, Frank Martin; step-mother, Beverly Buchanan; brothers, Michael Buchanan (Judy), Bruce Buchanan (Valerie), Steve Buchanan (Jen), and Jared Buchanan; sisters, Kathleen Baxter (Gary) and Amy Buchanan; grandchildren, Peyton Criswell and Jayden Droullard; and many family and friends. Loree was preceded in death by her father, Carl Buchanan; grandparents, Frank and Sylvia Deiner; and in-laws, Walt and Artus Hagenau. A celebration of Loree's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Bauer Funeral Chapel, 701 First Street, Snohomish, WA 98290.
