On July 10, 2014, Kayla Young-Wilson (Dent) passed away suddenly in her Everett home. Kayla was born March 25, 1960 in Seattle, Washington to Merlene Geneva Erkenbrack (Leigh) and Dennis Eugene Dent. Kayla lived in the Western Washington area her entire life. She graduated from Nathan Hale High School then spent the majority of her career at Boeing. Kayla worked with numerous charitable organizations throughout her life. Kayla was preceded in death by her grandmothers, grandfathers, mother, and father. Kayla is survived by her husband, Eugene Adams Wilson and his family; daughter, Lindsay Nicole Young, granddaughter Marlie Rae Petersen, step father, W. Keith Erkenbrack, brother Derek Dent (Ginger), sisters Dennielle Padgett (Roger), Kristina Allen (Scott), Brandi Russell (Bill), Kami Dent; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends. Kayla loved with perpetual loyalty and impacted every single being she encountered. She will be missed so very much. We lost our angel on earth… Live well, laugh often, love much. There will be a celebration of Kayla's life on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish. Kayla's granddaughter, Marlie Rae was the light of her life.
