She became involved in various community activities from the Darrington Timber Bowl to the Seattle World's Fair to the Tar Hill Picnic. She is famous for her southern gravy and biscuits that she would serve any time someone stopped by to pick bluegrass or just to say hello. No matter what the reason, you were welcome in her home. Family and friends played a very important role in Alice's life. Anyone that knew her had only good things to say. Preceding her in death were her two husbands; children, Jo Ann Bishop, Roger Bishop; siblings, Annie, Maggie, Velma, Ila, Edis and John David. Surviving Alice are her children, Janie (Rick) McFalls-Bertalan of Norton Shores, Mich., Connie McFalls of Kalispell, Mont., Jim (Pam Dunbar) McFalls of Camano, Island, Deborah (Kirk) Anderson of Longview, Wash., Martin (Janelle) McFalls of Marysville; sister, Esther Seago of Longview; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Alice is now making her gravy and biscuits in God's home and once again surrounded by family and friends and full of happiness and joy. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her.
