Jack is & was an awesome friend. He's touched so many lives in our community. From coaching soccer to putting up fences. One of the most caring, honest, politest person. Every time we saw each other, he'd always ask,"how's our kids doing?" Rest in peace my friend.

All through high school and staying with Jack and Lorraine that one year gave me an opportunity to get to know him as a good friend. His sweet smile, cute laugh, easy going nature, a ready helper, and always a fun guy to be around provided many good memories for me and a lot others who knew him. So glad I had an opportunity to see him again in 2015. Rest in peace Jack! God's comfort to your family during this very difficult time.

My memories of Jack will always be of the many happy years he shared with Lona and their children Heather, Luke, Cody and Jessie. Trips to the ocean, camping, his and Lona's weekends in Port Townsand, and hosting many family functions were , I believe, things that brought Jack much joy. Rest in peace Jack. Love, Leeann

I spent the first part of our relationship trying to be comfortable what to call you. We went from Jack to Pa to finally Dad. When you would call me the last few years you would refer to yourself as "Pops". But it was so important earlier in life that you had that title. So I will always remember you as my Dad. I love you so much! Thank you for giving me your name. Love you. Heather Nakken

I will always remember meeting Jack for the first time, in our S Everett house. He came with Lona (soon to be his wife), his brother Tim and my sister Leeann. We played some great poker, and Jack added his usual charisma to that night. We immediately liked this guy! Jack will remain in my memory as a hard working and proud family man. My thoughts are with all of the Nakken family at this time. Rest in peace now Jack.
