John Wayne Estie

John Wayne Estie, 48, of Everett, Washington, passed away on March 23, 2008 on a sail boat at the Everett Marina. He was born August 20, 1959 to parents, Della B. Yue and father, John Gary Estie.
He had a career as a landscape architect for 28 years. John loved sailing, landscaping, garden design and he had a natural gift of compassion for working with the elderly, cooking and cooking shows, and a love of the outdoors. He was generous with donating his time to help others less fortunate than he and loved playing the trumpet.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Ada Estie, and Charles and Theodora Roybal.
He is survived by his parents, Della B. Yue and John Gary Estie; beloved step-father Christopher K Yue; beloved step-mother, Jeanne Estie; children, Sheana-Marie Estie, Cheryl Gervin and Jack Crumpler; siblings, Monalisa Estie, Kirk Douglas Estie; two grandchildren, Raeane and Larenzo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; nephew, Christopher Maxwell.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy, 1702 Pacific Avenue, Everett, 98201.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, at Bethany Christian Assembly, 2715 Everett Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.
Arrangements are by Purdy & Walters, Floral Hills, Lynnwood, WA.
Memorial donations may be to Bethany Christian Assembly Compassion Ministries.
