Laurie W. Steinberg

Laurie Wayne Steinberg, 58, joined his Lord in Heaven September 23, 2011 after a brief battle with Lymphoma.
Laurie was born December 17, 1952 in Burnaby, BC and moved to Everett, WA in 1955 where he remained the rest of his life.
He attended Everett High School, eventually marrying his sweetheart Mary and raising five daughters with her.
He worked at Everett Vacuum Sales on Broadway since he was 14, taking it over in 1995.
He was a longtime supporter of the Snohomish County Pregnancy Resource Center and started the Everett Chapter of Choose Life. His membership on the board of the Everett Gospel Mission was just one manifestation of his care for others and his love for the Lord.
Laurie was preceded in death by his parents, Helgi and Loa Steinberg; his brother, Leonard; and sister, Lois.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary; five daughters, Allison Steinberg, Angela Banning (Dan), Amy Lane (David), Arrika Rayburn (James), and Abigail; six grandchildren; as well as cousins; nieces; nephews; and countless friends.
The family would like to thank Providence Regional Medical Center for their care, also friends and relatives, the Everett High School Class of 1971 and their church family Trinity OPC in Bothell, WA.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the Everett Gospel Mission or the Orthodox Presbyterian Church Foreign Missions Fund.
Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at New Life Center, 6830 Highland Drive in Everett at 3:00 p.m.
