Lorraine June Koffler

Lorraine Koffler was born June 1, 1935 to Boda and Zona Stevens in Omak, WA.
The youngest of six children, Lorraine grew up in Omak and graduated from Okanogan High School in 1953. She then worked two years at the credit bureau before attending SPC in 1955. There she met the one love of her life, Daniel,
through her sister Evelyn's friend, who later became her sister-in-law.
Lorraine and Dan were married on June 15, 1956 and enjoyed 56 beautiful years of marriage. They settled in Everett, WA where they raised their three children, Karen Darrow (John), Rick Koffler (Tammi), and Randy Koffler (Elly, and her children, Ashley and Jacob). She had six grandchildren, Amber Anderson (Jeff), Autumn Koffler, Tiffeny Kraft (Karl), Alisa Lagoe (Chris), Scott Darrow (Caroline) and Paul Darrow. She had six great-grandchildren, Luke Darrow, Alexia and Codi Lagoe and Solie, Saige and Soren Anderson, whom were very dear to her heart. The family spent many years camping and sledding during snow season with friends and relatives, and the annual Stevens Family reunion where a good time was had by all. After retirement they enjoyed their summers at their property in Concrete, WA.
Lorraine became the secretary at the Everett Free Methodist Church in 1967 and remained there until her retirement in 1987. She always made sure that she called everyone she knew on their birthday, whether they were a family member or a church friend. She did this every year until she lost her memories to dementia. Lorraine's true gift was to be a faithful wife and mother. She was an impeccable housekeeper and her children's favorite dishes to eat were her pot roast dinner and homemade pie on Sunday afternoons after church.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Wilson and Ola Michelsen; her brother, Cal Stevens; and her sisters-in-law, Eva Storlie, Carol Ofsthun and Jennie Taylor.
She leaves behind her brothers, Clarence Stevens and Les Stevens; as well as her sisters-in-law, Eileen Stevens, Ethel Koffler, Ruth Koffler, Irene Kluin, Gladys Baxter, Rose Ruggles, Marge Reiger and Dorothy Andrews; and her brothers-in-law, George and Stan Koffler, Bill Kluin, Jim Baxter, Keith Ruggles and Dave Andrews. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many friends that were dear to her heart.
Lorraine passed into God's hands June 18, 2012.
