Chicago to Malibu to Pacific Palisades to Pacific Grove, California to Camano Island, Washington . . . a sparkling inspiration to all she met and everything she touched.
No surprise that she embodied the same courage, strength, grace and beauty that she did throughout her spectacular, ultra successful, eventful and adventurous life, when faced by an inoperable pancreatic cancer diagnosis in the six months prior to her Transition.
Sandy's unique life experience included being a skilled business person balanced with environmental activism. She was elected Mayor of Pacific Grove for four consecutive terms. She dearly loved the natural wonders of the world and had a curiosity that never quit . . . she loved her "furry children" (Chow Chow Pups) was a skilled gardener, avid hiker . . . she loved just being outside taking in the magic of the day or night. Sandy loved her friends.
Sandy is celebrated by her husband of 34 years, Danny; her mother, Mary Lou; and "Sisters and brothers" too numerous to list.
