Eugene (Gene) Archer Lindner

Gene, 91, went to be with the Lord December 20, 2012. He passed away at the Marysville Care Center after becoming ill with pneumonia.
Gene was born September 17, 1921 in Wheaton, Minnesota. He enjoyed sharing stories about his childhood growing up in Fort Yates, North Dakota. Gene was a long time resident of Granite Falls, WA and was known by many for his years of work as a Contract Logger. He took a lot of pride in the hard work he put forth toward every job. He thoroughly enjoyed the relationships and friends he gained throughout his logging career.
Gene was a kind and loving man. He enjoyed reminiscing about his work for the Standard Oil Company, hunting trips and his logging jobs.
Gene is survived by his sons, John Lindner, David Lindner and Steve Tietsort; daughters, Margery Blake, Mary Jeakins, Linda Gray and Carol Wear; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A special thanks to the Marysville Care Center Staff and Residents for their love and care over the past three years.
Gene had a love for our Heavenly Father, he is now in God's Kingdom.
