Edna Marie (Conrad) Rodrick
Our loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother "Granny" passed away peacefully into the hands of her Savior on December 8, 2012, in Lakeville, Minnesota.
Since May of 2010, Edna had resided in Lakeville, Minnesota, desiring to be near her daughter, Becky (Joe) Weaver, and Becky's large, loving family, who took such great care of Mom.
A memorial service was held earlier at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville, Minnesota.
Services for Edna will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Cascade View Presbyterian Church, 1030 East Casino Road, Everett, Washington, at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Robert Higgins officiating.
Edna was born March 10, 1923 to John J. Conrad and Lucy (Ross) Conrad in Union City, Oklahoma. During World War II, Edna worked at an assembly plant where she met the love of her life, Charles (Rod) Rodrick. Charles and Edna were married March 31, 1944 while he was serving in WWII. Born of their marriage were three children: Mark (Dee) Rodrick, Rebecca (Joe) Weaver, and Jennifer (Larry) Boyd.
Edna is survived by six grandchildren: Kellie (Roger) Walia, Jennie (Tim) Ophus, Mark (Teresa) Rodrick, Carriann (Doug) Berry, Chris (Kaylee) Rodrick, Angelique (Bryan) Becherini; ten great-grand-children: James Rodrick, D'Anna Rodrick, Caitlyn Spring, Brandon Walia, Jacob Walia, Charles Walia; Haylee Weaver Ophus, Paige Ophus, Karley Ophus; and Carmela Becherini. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Mom was preceded in death by her husband, Rod, in 1984; her parents, and her siblings.
