John Bernard Copp

John B. Copp was born July 8, 1922. He passed away quietly in his sleep on May 6, 2013. John was born in Owatonna, MN.
John served in the 101st Airborne Division during WW II he jumped on D-Day on the beaches of Normandy and he was also at the Battle of the Bulge in Bastone. John and his wife, Frankie moved to Everett in 1963. They moved to Lynnwood a year later and lived there until his retirement in 1987. John and Frankie moved to Stanwood, WA in 1988. John loved hunting, fishing, working in his yard and watching sports on TV.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie.
He is survived by his
children, Cheri, Ron, Toni and Sandy; grandchildren,
Jennifer, Jeff, Ty, Cory, Kinsey, Dwight, Neva,
Beverly; great grandchildren, Kyle, Katlyne, Ty Jr., Devin and Rhiannon,
Lennox, Stone and Willow.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 8211 323rd Pl. N.W., Stanwood, WA on Saturday,May 25, 2013 from 1– 4 p.m. Cards and Memorials may be sent to the Copp family at the same address.
