Gordon Keith Correll

Gordon was born in Apple Valley, Parma, Idaho on Nov ember 3, 1920; he was the son of Jim and Nellie Correll.
He graduated from Parma High School and later enlisted in the Coast Guard during WWII. He participated in the Aleutian Campaign as well as operating a landing barge off Tarawa and other areas, serving on the USS "Arthur Middleton."
He worked on fire boats in Tacoma, WA prior to moving to Arlington, WA. He was employed in the Fire Department US Naval Radio Station (T) Jim Creek for 30 years. There he met his wife, Jean - a happy marriage of 58 years.
Gordon was active at Bethel Baptist Church serving in many capacities in his love for our Lord.
He endured Parkinson's disease with difficult side effects until June 17, 2013 spending the last days at Marysville Care Center, a truly caring facility.
Thanks to Dr. Andreoni and Dr. Wilhelm; Pastors, Wes Johnson and Jake Krestinski; and for caring neighbors; and relatives.
Surviving are wife, Jean; sister, Betty Sloane, FL; sister-in-law, Dee Correll, CA; brother-in-law, Fred Misner, Bend, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Bethel Baptist in Everett, WA.
