James Leo Gassman

James Leo Gassman, 54, was received into the hands of our Lord on June 20, 2013 and was welcomed with love by his parents, Thomas and Betty Gassman; and brother, Tim. He is survived by his sister, Tracy Gassman-Schorr; brother, Phil (Gayle) Gassman; nieces, Hilary and Kelly; nephews, Justin and Tyler; great-nephews, Devyn and Brayden; and his best friend and beloved dog, Toby.
James was born on December 9, 1958 in Seattle WA. He graduated from Bothell High School in 1977. He enjoyed sports, both playing and watching. James loved racing flat bottom boats in the 80's and 90's. He then settled in Butte, Montana where he started his own construction company. He developed many wonderful friends in Butte.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter and Rescue:


A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Ridge Church 3805 Maltby Rd. Bothell WA 98012. Reception following at the home of Phil and Gayle Gassman-directions provided at memorial.
