All I can think is THANK YOU Grandpa. Thank you for loving Grandma and having a family with her. Thank you for my Mother and thank you for the experinces and memories that were created by you. The life you worked for, the lifes you supported and the lifes you fought and served for. 89 years is a lifetime but still not enough time to know you as well as I would have like to. What I do know about you, my sweet Grandfather, is that you were a quite and strong man. A man that had strong beliefs and had a stubborn streak that you passd down to your children and their children. Sadly, it had been two years since we last saw eachother on the day (8/7) we said goodbye to eachother. But we did get to say goodbye and I am so grateful for that and your sweet words to me the last time we spoke...Thank you for that gift Grandpa. Until we meet again I will be holding you tightly in my heart and memories. I love you.
