Cora Vivian Rorick, our beloved mother, grand-mother and granny, passed away at home on November 16, 2013. She was born in Moxie, WA to parents, Corbin and Minnie Maddox on February 11, 1918. She was their only daughter and she joined brothers, Jim, Richard and Roy. Vivian grew up in Kennewick, WA where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Paul Rorick. In 2009 they celebrated 70 years of marriage and we can celebrate that they are now together again. The Roricks raised their family in Marysville, WA. They met and developed lifelong friendships. Their joy was spending time with family and friends camping and traveling in their RV. Vivian worked many years at Cornell Pharmacy. She loved greeting and assisting customers. Vivian was the heart of her family. She was a blessing to each of us. She is survived by daughter, Bunnie Jones; son, Michael (Wendy) Rorick; grand-children, Debra (Kevin) Eylander, Jenny Christianson, Mitch (Jessica) Rorick, Jada Abenroth; great-grand-children, Bryan, Paul Eylander, Megan, Corbin Christianson, Tate, Nash Rorick, and Isaac, Caleb, Eli Abenroth; and many nieces and nephews. She was greeted in heaven by her husband, Paul; grandson, Mike Jones; her parents and siblings. Vivian was a member of Marysville United Methodist Church where a memorial will be held on November 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the United Methodist Church or Hospice. We want to thank our Hospice team for their love and care.
