Marilyn J. Kemp Marilyn was born January 7, 1952 and passed away January 8, 2014. Marilyn was a proud Quinault Tribal member. She worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She served our country in the US Army and graduated from Highline High School (1970). Marilyn loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, Abbi and RJ Kemp. She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Georgiana Whetung of Burien, WA; and niece, Donya Grand of England. She is survived by her only son, Robert Kemp (Samantha); sisters, Liz Johnson and Carolann Grand; brothers, Joe Whetung (Judy) and John Whetung; nephews, Marc and Brian Johnson; as well as many friends. A Memorial will be held at the Cabbage Patch Restaurant, 111 Ave A Snohomish, WA on January 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery January 27, at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome.
