Kenneth James Krismer passed away peacefully on February, 18, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born on January 20, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota to William and Teresa Krismer. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Edith; son, David (Amy); daughters, Cindy Hahn (Kirk), Missy Alvear (Anthony); and his five cherished grand-children, Madison, McKenzie, Ellie, Kathryn, and Ryan. Ken had a smile that seemed to go on forever and welcomed everyone into his life as if they were family. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1958 to 1961. Ken and his family moved to Washington in 1983 where he finished his career and retired from Burlington Northern railroad in 1993. He went on to work as a realtor with Home Realty and enjoyed his life spending time with family and friends and working in his yard in which he took so much pride. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. St. Brendan's Catholic Church 10049 NE 195th St., Bothell. Reception immediately following service.
