James "Jim" Hershaw, of Marysville, Washington, died February 27, 2005, at the age of 66. Jim was born July 13, 1938, in Everett, Washington.

He is survived by his wife, Pat, of 26 plus years; children, Brad (Sue) Hershaw, Dan (Rita) Hershaw, Pam (Ken) Owens, Debby (David) Brown, Rick (Teresa) Willmaser, Kerry (Denise Wilder) Willmaser; mother, Irene Crawford of Mount Vernon; aunts, Phyllis Bonneywell of Lakewood, Stella (Bill) Jensen and Peggy Hershaw of Sedro Wooley; sister, Jeanette (Loren) Cannon; grandchildren, Tricia (Kurt), Joshua, Bryce, Ryan, Shanna, Shawna, Cassie, Ashley, Jacob, Katie and Joseph; and great-grandson, Chase.
There are many wonderful nieces and nephews who will also miss their uncle. Extended family members that will miss him include Karl Willmaser, Bobbie Gentry, Donna Klein, Tina Hershaw, Penny Beauchamp, Jack (Peg) Whitt and family, Katy (Lauren) Shockley, David (Teresa) McCollum, Dan (Donzetta) Drum-heller, and Donald Drumheller.
Jim spent 25 years in the Navy, retiring in 1976. He drove a delivery truck on the Olympic Peninsula. After moving to Marysville, the sea once again called out to him, so off he went for another five years. When he decided that home was where he really wanted to be, he worked for Safeway Trucking until he retired for good in 2001. His family and friends will miss him, but know he lives on in our hearts and our memories.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.
