Marvella BairFORT MILL - Mrs. Marvella Myers Bair, 67, passed away on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at her home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Serenity Gardens at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia, S.C. Born in Tabor City, N.C., Mrs. Bair was a daughter of the late Fred Myers and the late Jesse Mae Dantzler Myers. She was a member of the Bahai Faith for 48 years and served on various local assemblies. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Sounds of Oneness. She was also a member of Toastmasters. Mrs. Bair had a radiant spirit and loved people. She was connected with friends around the world. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiriah Baldwin Scott. Surviving are her husband, Owen Bair; her daughters, Tracy Baldwin of the home and Tangela Baldwin Stanley (Jesse) of Jamestown, N.C.; her brother, William Dennis Myers (Wilhelmenia) of Conyers, Ga.; her sisters, Bettye Jeter of Columbia and Carlis Bryant (Paul) of Somerset, N.J.; five grandchildren, Ashleigh, Myles, Jessamyn, Emily and Gabriel; three great-grandchildren, Noah, Myles Jr. and Bella Pearl; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
