YORK - David James Freberg, 36, of York, S.C., went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012. David was working on Long Island in New York when he suddenly departed this earth in a tragic tree accident.
David was owner of Patriot Tree Service, helping the residents with clean-up after Hurricane Sandy. He was a dedicated husband, father, son and brother who loved his family and God.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn; children, Aiden, 8, Ethan, 2, and Emma, 8 mo.; mother, Eileen; two sisters, Christina and Genevieve; and brother, Brian, all residing in York County.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC 29730. The family welcomes everyone to come celebrate his life.

I have never met David or any of his family or friends but I am humbled by someone so young giving his life while doing God's will. My prayers will be with all of you but what a legacy he has left for his young family.
