Mary Ann Boone ROCK HILL - Mary Ann Boone (nee McKinney), 69, of Rock Hill, S.C., passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Mary Ann, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, was raised in Girard and Oberlin, Ohio. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Kenneth "Tom" Boone; four daughters, Tracie Rhodes Edwards, Cynthia Rhodes LeVert, Mika Rhodes and Kristin Boone; stepdaughter, Jenise (Kim Allen) Veris and stepson, Kenneth C. Boone; 11 grandchildren, Taylor Edwards, Aaron Edwards, Kaidyn LeVert, Christian Rhodes, Rian Olivia Rhodes, Andrew Green, Kara Boone, Kristin Alexa Martin, Keania Boone, Justin Veris and Kyle Veris; four great-grandchildren, Kailee Williams, Kylin Williams, Sadie Vines and Taliyah Edwards; her mother, Mamie McKinney; eight sisters, Esther Walker, Ruth Dotson, Calvesta Walker, JoAnna McKinney, Darlene McKinney, Christine McKinney, Delores Dykes and Mary Magdalene McKinney; three brothers, James McKinney, Joseph McKinney and David McKinney. Her father, L. Douglas McKinney and two sisters, Elizabeth and Caroline McKinney predeceased her. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, at White Hill AME Zion Church, 2255 Old York Road, York, SC 29745, 803-684-9173. There will be no viewing. Cosme, Deborah Riccio - Rock Hill  
Deborah Cosme ROCK HILL - Deborah Ellen Riccio Cosme, 59, beloved mother of Nina M. Cosme Galtes, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Cosme; her father, William Riccio; her mother, Margaret Burzynski and her brother, Fred Riccio. A public memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel at 2133 Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill with the visitation to follow. Deborah was born in Bridgeport, Conn. She was a graduate of Butler Business School in Bridgeport. Deborah lived in Bridgeport, Conn. until she moved to Rock Hill, S.C. in 1994. Deborah was very active in her career as a Financial Coordinator and Office Manager. She was employed by numerous corporations in the Charlotte/Rock Hill area before she retired. Deborah is survived by her current spouse, Daryl Fair; her daughter, Nina and her son-in-law, Michael Galtes; her siblings, Bill Riccio, Fidella Riccio, Michael Riccio and Richard Burzynski and several nieces and nephews. Della Johnson ROCK HILL - Della Catherine Roberts Johnson was born Feb. 22, 1920, to John J. Roberts and Martha Jane Roberts. She was called home to be with Jesus on May 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harry Johnson and one son, Ronald Steve Johnson. She is survived by six children, Geraldine Blackmon (George), Frieda Railey (Robert), Bill Johnson (Jane), Don Johnson (Delores), Cathy Hurlocker (David), and Doris Slaughter (Bobby). She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Chris Railey (Dawn), Cindy Melton (James), Michelle Barrier (Charlie), Keith Johnson (Kate), Amy Railey, Paula Dellinger (Steve), Tamara Slaughter, Keri Slaughter, Jonathan Brazzell (Diane), Marty Johnson (Tammie), Heather Brazzell (Derron), Nikki Johnson and Matt Slaughter; 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bethesda Presbyterian Church. The service will be private. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Pruitt Health for the loving care they gave her and also to Hospice nurse Patsy for her support at this difficult time. Mendenhall, Mildred Faye  
Mildred Mendenhall ROCK HILL - Mildred Faye Mendenhall, 83, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C. Midge, as most know her by, was originally from Wichita, Kan., and moved to Rock Hill, S.C., in 1983. She was retired from Food Service Management, worked many of her years after retirement at PCA Labs and was an active member of Impact Community Church and the Ladies of Impact Women's Group. She spent her life loving, caring for and serving others. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mendenhall Sr.; her granddaughter, Rebecca Clarke; her son, James Mendenhall Jr.; and her daughter, Susan Goering. She will be missed dearly by her children, Darrin Mendenhall and wife, Loretta, and Amy Smith; her 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday May 8, 2015, at Impact Community Church in Rock Hill, S.C. Flowers will be received by the church at 5115 Old York Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732. Richardson, Frankie Kea  
Frankie K. Richardson CHESTERFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Frances "Frankie" Kea Richardson, age 79, died Friday, May 1, 2015. Her funeral was 4 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Chesterfield Cemetery. Visitation was 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Richardson was born April 29, 1936, in Hartsville, S.C., a daughter of the late Robert Kinchen and Corrie Garland Kea. She was a graduate of Hartsville High School and a former bookkeeper with Belk Department Store. Frankie was a member of WOW and St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was a very talented poet and had written hundreds of poems, nine of which were published by The National Library of Poetry. Frankie was a member of The International Society of Poetry. All of her poems were God given and Frankie enjoyed sharing them with her church family and friends. In addition to her parents, Frankie was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Richardson and by a brother, Robert K. Kea Jr. Survivors include a brother, James M. (Christa Langston) Kea of Rock Hill, S.C.; two nieces, Caroline (Chip) Harper of Hartsville, S.C. and Allison (Billy) Reynolds of Calhoun Falls, S.C.; two great nieces, Alisha Bennett and Katherine Harper and one great nephew, Wil Harper III. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709 or Chesterfield Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Chesterfield, SC 29709. Ricky D. Robertson PRESTON, MISS. - Services for Ricky Dale Robertson will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel in Philadelphia, Miss. The Rev. Vernell Daniels and the Rev. Gerald Butler will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Jackson Field Cemetery in Winston County, Miss. McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia, Miss. is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Robertson, 53, of Preston, Miss. died Saturday, May 2, 2015, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Miss. He was a native of Preston, Miss., where he made his home early in life. He made his home in York, South Carolina for most of his adult life before moving back to Preston three years ago. Mr. Robertson attended Dry Creek Baptist Church. He was a member of Summerville Masonic Lodge #64 in Preston, Miss. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Faye Robertson of Preston, Miss.; daughters, Charlotte "Nikki" Ordeneaux (Jimmy) of New Orleans, La. and Jessica Renee Robertson of Preston, Miss.; grandchildren, Martha Miller Ordeneaux, Charlotte Palmer Ordeneaux and Henry DeBate Ordeneaux, all of New Orleans, La.; parents, Leon and Charlotte Fulton of Preston, Miss.; brothers, Mike Robertson of Preston, Miss. and Robbie Robertson of Newton, Miss.; stepbrother, Terrell Fulton of Preston, Miss.; stepsister, Bertha Richardson of Hattiesburg, Miss. and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dale Robertson and stepbrother, William Earl Fulton. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Bulls Island Hunting Club in South Carolina.
