Barnes, Olive Morris  
Olive M. Barnes ROCK HILL Mrs. Olive Morris Barnes, 87, entered peacefully into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior at Westminster Health Center on April 2, 2015. She was born on September 26, 1927, in Denville, New Jersey to Samuel Carey Morris and Mary Livingston Morris, the youngest of nine children. She is survived by two siblings, Robert A. Morris of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Orr Barnhart Morris of Phillips-burg, New Jersey. Her husband of 64 years, F. Herbert Barnes predeceased her on January 31, 2014. Olive is also survived by their six children, Patricia B. Busch and husband, Douglas of Pequannock, N.J.; Richard A. Barnes and wife, Paula of Rock Hill, S.C.; Daniel F. Barnes and wife, Virginia of Rock Hill, S.C.; Randall D. Westfall and wife, Barbara of Randolph, N.J.; Kimberly W. Cayes of Morris Plains, N.J.; and Lisle W. Pepe and husband, Frank of Clinton Corners, N.Y. She was also blessed with eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Olive studied vocal performance at Hunter College of New York City and was privileged to have had the opportunity to perform in Carnegie Hall. She also studied Psychology and Special Education to assist developmentally challenged young students. Later in her career she assisted her husband in the management of their various business interests. Olive's other involvements included Cub Scout Den Leader, Girl Scout Troop Leader, singing in choirs at Westminster Presbyterian Church and Westminster Towers, involvement in leadership positions in the New Jersey Chapter of Concerned Women of America and actively encouraging her children and many grandchildren in their various athletic and scholastic activities. The family would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to her dedicated caregivers from Home Bridge Services, MediHome Hospice of Rock Hill and the full staff of Westminster Healthcare Center. A Memorial Service in celebration of Olive's life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made in Olive's name to the Westminster Towers Endowment Fund, 1300 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732; or the Alzheimer's Association of SC, 4124 Clemson Boulevard, #L, Anderson, SC 29621. Carolyn Lucas Bennett ROCK HILL - Mrs. Carolyn Lucas Bennett, 64, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. Services for Mrs. Bennett will be 11AM, Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2370 W. Main St., Rock Hill, with Pastor Jeff Lingley officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Cherry Road. Born in Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Bennett was the daughter of the late James V. Lucas and the late Avanelle Gardner Lucas. She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. She worked in the warehouse distribution center for Cato in Charlotte. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Langston. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband of 51 years, James W. Bennett; her son, Mardy Bennett, of York; her daughter, Melissa Lafever and husband, Casey, of York; her sisters, Linda L. Brock and Beverly Bennett, both of Rock Hill; and her five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2370 W. Main St. The family will have a reception following the service on Wednesday at the home of Mardy Bennett, 2346 Springhill Court, York, SC. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Bennett's name to Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2370 W. Main St., Rock Hill, SC 29730. Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St. is serving the Bennett family. Bogle, Heather Cristina  
Heather C. Bogle FREMONT, OHIO - Heather Cristina Bogle, 28, of Fremont and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. Heather was born December 27, 1986, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to Bruce Bogle who survives in Sharon, South Carolina and Renae (McLaughlin) Bogle who survives in York, South Carolina. Survivors include her daughter, McKenzie Cook of Fremont; a sister, Jennifer (Dustin Messersmith) Bogle of New Riegel; a brother, Joshua Feasel of Michiga;, stepmother, Shirley Bogle of Sharon, South Carolina; maternal grandfather, Rick (Shirley) Eidenour of Fostoria; a special nephew, Tristan and two special nieces, Natalie and Abigail. Heather worked at Whirlpool in Clyde and was a member of the Fremont Baptist Church. Heather was a 2006 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and loved spending time with her daughter, McKenzie. Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Linda Eidenour and her paternal grandparents, Raymond (Mary) Bogle. Funeral services for Heather will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the Ohio Memorial Chapel in Tiffin at 600 North River Road, Tiffin, OH 44883 with Pastor Jeff Good officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be also on Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the chapel. There will be no burial held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made at any Fifth Third Banking in memory of Heather.
