Eva Baker RICHMOND, VA. - Mrs. Eva Pauline Morgan Baker, 97, formerly of Rock Hill, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Grandview Memorial Park on South Cherry Road. Mrs. Baker was the wife of the late Lewis Thomas Baker and the mother of five children, daughters, Barbara Herdrich and husband, Ralph, Judy Gutierrez and husband, Fernando, Jennie B. Absher, Pamela Baker and son, Lewis T. Baker Jr. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Belue, Robert G. (Bobby)  
Robert (Bobby) G. Belue ROCK HILL - Mr. Robert (Bobby) G. Belue of Rock Hill, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the Wayne T. Patrick House in Rock Hill. A memorial service to celebrate Bobby's life will be at 3 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel at 2133 Ebenezer Road with the Reverend Roland L. Dry Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Magnolia Room at the funeral home. Mr. Belue was born in Rock Hill, S.C. and was the son of the late Grayson Wilson and Kathleen Williams Belue. He was a member of the Inspiration Baptist Chu-rch and retired from the automotive service business. Mr. Belue is survived by his wife, Ann Burch Belue; his sons, Duane Belue and wife, Holly and Kevin Belue; his grandchildren, April Belue and fiance', Jason Bal-chune, Dillon Belue, Mason Belue, Savannah Belue, Robert Bratton; his great-gra-nddaughter, Rory Belue; his sister, Kathy Belue Fanning and her special friend, Sonny Onley; his brother-in-law, Steven Ned Burch and his nephew, Joshua Burch. Bennett, James Franklin - Tega Cay  
James F. Bennett TEGA CAY, S.C. - James Frankin Bennett (Jim) of Tega Cay, S.C. passed away on December 17, 2014, at CMC Pineville on the 37th wedding anniversary to his wife. He was born September 2, 1939, in Charlotte to the late Jesse Edgar Bennet and Mildred Hamrick Bennett. He graduated from Central High School in 1957, attending N.C. State College, served in the Air Force and was an instructor in aeronautics at UNCC. Upon joining Atlantic Richfield Oil Company he worked his way up through the ranks and became a Captain, flying the company top management all over the globe. He flew six presidents and many movie stars. He lived in California a number of years and upon retirement chose to return to the south, moving to Tega Cay, S.C. He was an active member of Fort Mill Baptist Church. Jim was an avid golfer at Tega Cay and will be missed by his golfing buddies. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carolyn Bennett; his sister, Carole B. Kinzie of Fort Mill, S.C.; his children, son, Scott Bennett (Stacey), Beth Israel (Richard) and son Christopher were the loves of his life. He has four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. His service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Fort Mill First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow Monday at 2 p.m. December 22, 2014, at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. Bigger, Jewel Crain Strange - Rock Hill  
Jewel Crain Strange Bigger ROCK HILL - Family and friends are celebrating the life and mourning the loss this week of Jewel Crain Strange Bigger, 78, who died Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Westminster Rehabilitation Center in Rock Hill. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, December 15, 2014, at Barron Funeral Home. Born January 4, 1936, in Greenville, Mrs. Bigger was a daughter of the late Croel Mooney Crain and Elsie Collins Crain. She was a graduate of Taylors High School and retired with 32 years of dedicated service for the South Carolina Highway Patrol District 4 office in Chester. She was very active in the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association, holding different state level offices. She was also a member and office holder in the American Business Women's Association. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Chester where she was very active and even worked in the church office before her employment with the Highway Department. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family for whom she delighted in cooking and entertaining. She was an excellent cook, as those that knew her and had eaten at her table would agree. She is survived by her husband Walter Eugene Bigger and two daughters, Susan Strange Anderson and her husband, Leonard C., of Chester, and Angela Elizabeth Strange, of Rock Hill; her special "adopted" son, Clark Fennell; three grandchildren, Sarkis Zoubian, Clyde Thomas Zoubian, both of Rock Hill, and Leonard G. Anderson, of San Antonio, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Aiden Anderson and Carlie Anderson, of Collinsville, Illinois; and a sister, Elizabeth Crain Stephens and her husband, Gene, of Taylors. She was preceded in death by her son Clyde Nesbitt "Skip" Strange, Jr. and a granddaughter, Elyse Anderson. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church "Gift" Fund, PO Box 518, Chester, SC 29706. Blakley, William Arthur - Richburg  
William Arthur Blakley RICHBURG - William Arthur "Artie" "Cowboy" Blakley, 58, died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Reverend John Parris officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls. Mr. Blakley was born in Chester on April 19, 1956, and was a son of Betty Gibson Blakley and the late Arthur Edward Blakley. He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Blakley was retired from Fort Jackson Military Base as a materials handler. "Cowboy" was a huge Waffle House fan and enjoyed the camaraderie he shared there with his friends. "Artie" is survived by his mother, Betty Gibson Blakley, and his brother, Edward Blakley (Debbie), both of Richburg, and several nieces and nephews. Annie C. Boatwright YORK - Mrs. Annie C. Boatwright, 88, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014, at her home. She was a loving and feisty, red headed mother and grandma. Surviving her are her children, Betty Williams (Bud), Polly McCarverand, and Eddie Boatwright (Meliissa). She was the grandma to Kelly, Durain, Leigh Anne, Dwayne (Stephanie), Sherry (Todd), Pam (Phillip), Sam (Amy), Tristan, and Sharli. She had eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Boatwright; a son, Doug Boatwright; a son-in-law, Ralph McCarver, and a granddaughter, Dolly Williams. The family will receive friends anytime at the home she shared with her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Bud, at 8072 Park Place Rd., in York. There will be a small Memorial Service at her home on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. Parker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
