Davis, Lynn S. - Fort Mill  
Lynn Davis FORT MILL, S.C. - Mrs. Lynn S. Davis, 69, of Rock Hill, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church at 132 Center Street in Chester, with the Most Rev. Bill Feus officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Born in Bluefield, W.Va., Lynn was a daughter of the late James Kellis Sult and Mary Sue Sult of Pocahontas, Va. She was a 1972 graduate of Bluefield State College in Bluefield, W.Va. Lynn was a retired chemist with Springs Industries and was a member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Rock Hill. Surviving are her son, William "Bill" Suggs Jr. (Kate) of Berlin, Germany; two stepchildren, John Patrick Davis (Pam) of Hobe Sound, Fla. and Sarah Jane Davis Schneider (Bill) of Alexandria, Va.; daughter-in-law, Anita Davis of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Fiona Jane Suggs, Brendan Michael Suggs, Elizabeth Davis, Kimberly Davis, Ian Davis, Anna Davis, Caroline Schneider, Kate Schneider, Danielle Davis and Shawn Davis. She was the widow of the late Robert F. Davis Jr., and was predeceased by stepsons, Robert F. Davis III and James Bradford Davis. Danny Deal CLOVER, S.C. - Daniel "Danny" Edward Deal, 59, of Clover, S.C. passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015, at home. His graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home at 209 N. Main Street in Clover, S.C. Mr. Deal was born October 14, 1955, to Ed Deal and Mary Thomas Deal. Danny and his brother, Timmy owned and operated Environmental Safety & Health. He was a member of the Clover Alpine Lodge #208. Survivors are his wife, Kimberly Brandon Deal; daughter, Jessica D. Culbertson (Tommy); son, Quentin B. Deal (Christina); brother, Tim Deal (Donna); mother, Mary T. Deal; father, Edward F. Deal; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mandy and Melvin "Buck" Mullis and grandchildren, Emma Sue Culbertson, Maggie Deal and Luke Deal, all of Clover, S.C. Willie Deal CLOVER - William M. "Willie" Deal, 87, of Edge Park Rd., died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Ramah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim McGill officiating. Interment will be in Beersheba Presbyterian Church, Clover. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. before the service in the church fellowship hall. Mr. Deal was born June 29, 1927 in York County, SC to the late Eli and Carrie McCarter Deal. He was a cattle farmer and a saw mill owner and operator for over 50 years. Mr. Deal was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Belle Hull Deal and sister, Mary Deal Hull. Survivors are his three daughters, Judy Deal Adkins Tillinghast (David) of Isle of Palms, SC, Phyllis Deal Adkins (Bruce) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Janet Deal Daniel of Charlotte, NC; son, William M. Deal, Jr. (Ellen) of Clover, SC; six grandchildren, Carrie Davies (Chip), Susan Stabene (Eric), Marcene Adkins, Kathryn Adkins, William M. Deal, III, and Eli B. Deal; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Davies, Elaina Davies, Caroline Stabene and Conrad Stabene. Demeri, Anthony M. - Indian Land  
Anthony M. Demeri INDIAN LAND - Anthony M. Demeri, 76 of Indian Land, S.C., formerly of Lincoln Park, N.J., passed away peacefully on April 13, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Matthew Catholic Church at 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway in Charlotte, N.C. on Monday, April 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. Visitation is at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Cremation will be private. A Memorial Mass will also be held at St. Joseph Church at 216 Comly Road Lincoln Park in N.J. on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Tony lived in Lincoln Park for 43 years before moving to Indian Land eight years ago. He was superintendent of field operations in the New York City construction industry for many years, rounding out his career as an independent sales contractor until his retirement in 2001. Tony was loved by all who met him and made friends wherever he went. His quick wit, kindness and class will be forever remembered. When he told a story, it always captured the complete attention of everyone in the room. A true gentleman, Tony always looked sharp. He was a selfless man who always put his wife and family above himself. Tony was the beloved husband of 55 years to Elaine (nee Nitti) and the loving father of John Demeri and his wife, Colleen, Anthony Demeri and his wife, Grace, Jennifer DePinto and her husband, Robert and Ken Demeri and his wife, Kelly. He was the brother of the late Frank Demeri and Nancy Tirelli. He is survived by his wonderful grandchildren, Chris Armijo, Frank Galante, Alysha Demeri and her fiancee, Ryan, John Demeri, Josh Newman, Anthony Demeri, Olivia Demeri, Alec Demeri, Tommy Demeri, Jillian DePinto, Dean DePinto and Taryn Demeri and by many other relatives and friends. Along with the love he had for Elaine, Tony was most proud of his children and grandchildren and he never let any of them forget it. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church, www.stmatthewcatholic.org in his memory. Larry V. Douglas EDGEMOOR - Mr. Larry V. Douglas, 57, of 2032 Kinfolk Drive, passed Saturday, April 11, 2015, at his residence. He was born June 15, 1958, in Edgemoor, S.C. to Lemon Bell and Maggie B. Douglas. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at Parker Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Duncan Sr., John T.  
John T. Duncan Sr. CLINTON - John T. Duncan Sr. passed away on Tuesday evening, April 14th, 2015. Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina on September 2nd, 1937, to James Holt Duncan and Lena Bennett Duncan, John was an alumnus of Rock Hill High School. He graduated from Clemson A&M College in 1961, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management, being the first in his family to graduate from college. He is survived by his wife, Dianne; two sons, John and his wife, Marilyn and Jeff and his wife, Melody and five grandsons, Jeremy and his wife, Somer, Adam, Graham, John Philip and Parker. While at Clemson, John was a member of Kappa Sigma Nu fraternity. He was also a Master Mason, Simpson-ville Lodge No. 311 AFM. He was a member of the Clemson Alumni Association and a member of IPTAY since 1978. John served in the Army National Guard from 1953 to 1962, rising to the rank of Sgt. 1st Class. He enjoyed a successful career in the textile industry from 1962 to 1998, serving several companies in S.C., N.C. and Virginia, retiring as a Vice President with Arkwright Mills in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He attended First Baptist Church of Clinton, S.C. and the Randall Sunday School Class. The family says, "He was an awesome husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, friend, Christian man, Clemson die-hard, hunter, fisherman and protector of his family. We miss you and you will forever be in our hearts." The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at Gray Funeral Home in Clinton, S.C. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, April 18th, 2015, at Grandview Memorial Park in Rock Hill, S.C. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in his memory to The Alzheimer's Association of S.C., 4124 Clemson Blvd. Suite L., Anderson, SC 29621; IPTAY, 200 Avenue of Champions, Clemson, SC 29634; or the 1st Baptist Church of Clinton, P.O.
