Deese, Sara Russell - Lake Wylie  
Sara Russell Deese of Lake Wylie, SC died September 25, 2016. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Thursday September 29, 2016 at The Journey at Lake Wylie, 5415 Hwy 557, Lake Wylie, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Ms. Deese was born July 11, 1937 in Albemarle, NC to the late Albert and Annie Lizzie Deese Russell. She is survived by her daughters Amber Deese of Atlanta, GA, Crystal Deese of McLean, VA, son Russell Deese of Lake Wylie, sister Patsy Ingold of Charlotte, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Douglas, Virginia Clouse "Ginie" - Rock Hill  
Virginia Clouse Douglas, 96, "Ginie", passed away on September 24 at HarborChase of Rock Hill Memory Care. Mrs. Douglas was born in Coeymans, New York on March 24, 1920 to the late Salvador and Sarah Pascuzzi Clouse. Virginia graduated Coeymans High School and went on to graduate nursing school. She proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II as a nurse. She was honored to serve in the Military and is remembered in the Women in Military Service Memorial in Washington, D.C. Virginia continued her nursing career in New York and Rock Hill, S.C. She is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Douglas. Together they ran Douglas Studio. Virginia later substitute taught in the Rock Hill School District for many years. She is survived by her son, George Anderson Douglas, Jr. (Susan) of Greenville, S.C. and daughter, Sarah Douglas Bedenbaugh (Mike) of Rock Hill. Three grandchildren, Taylor Douglas Johnson (David) of Greenville, Lucy Brockman Bedenaugh of Rock Hill, and George Anderson Douglas, III (Maggie) of Mount Pleasant, S. C. In addition, Virginia is survived by her sisters, Mary Jane Fabian of East Greenbush, NY; Margaret J. Clouse of Colonie, NY and Esther Rappold of Colonie, NY and many loving nieces and nephews. Virginia is predeceased by her sibling, Rose Farinelli of Coeymans, NY; Susan F. Hansen of Alaska; Joseph B. Clouse of Selkirk, NY; Peter C. Clouse of Coeymans, NY; Julia Clouse of Oakland, California; and James S. Clouse of Coeymans, NY. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, September 27 at 11:00 AM at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill, S.C officiated by Father Joseph Pearce. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to: Women's Memorial Foundation, Dept. 560, Washington, DC 20042. The family would like to thank the staff of HarborChase of Rock Hill Memory Care unit for their loving care and support, Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, and Father Joseph Pearce. Dunn, Marilyn - York  
Mrs. Marilyn P. Dunn, 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, with Rev. Paul Peterson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Dannhart and the late Elsie Liebel Dannhart and the widow of John Dunn. She was a member of Church 180 and a member of the Women of the Moose. Surviving are her children, Marilyn Hall (Patrick) of Rock Hill, Sharon Straehle (Philip) of Long Island, NY and Neil Van Oers of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hospice & Community Care for the wonderful love and attention given to Mrs. Dunn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Dunn's name to Church 180, 2685 Celanese Rd, Ste 114, Rock Hill, SC 29732; Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731; or any Moose charity.
