Adams, Betty Sue Bledsoe "Sprinkle"  
Betty B. Adams SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - Betty Sue Bledsoe (Sprinkle) Adams, 63, passed away January 8, 2015. Betty was born in Pennington Gap, Va. on March 4, 1951, the daughter of Richard and Ray Lou Bledsoe. Betty worked as a hairdresser for PTL in Fort Mill, S.C. for Esters Hair-styling and Diane Mercer for 15 years. She also worked at Home Depot in Pineville, N.C., Rock Hill, S.C. and Lancaster, S.C. She enjoyed travelling and reading and was also actively involved in church activities and pets. Betty is survived by her spouse, Ronald Adams; son, James E. Sprinkle and grandson, Jamie Sprinkle. Visitation will be held from 3 to 3:30 p.m. January 31, 2015, with the memorial service starting at 3:30 at Temple Baptist Church, 281 Celriver Road in Rock Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services.

Allison Jr., William Barry - Mt. Pleasant  
William Barry Allison Jr. February 27, 1921 January 11, 2015 MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - William Barry Allison Jr., 93, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of the late Mary Blair Allison, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, January 11, 2015. William was born on February 27, 1921, in Clover, South Carolina, the son of the late William Barry Allison Sr. and Mary Eva Mitchell Allison. He graduated from Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina with a major in Mathematics. It was here he began his love for music. William served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and Naval Reserve for 20 years. William and Mary moved to Jacksonville, Alabama, where he began his career as Education Specialist at Fort McClellan, Alabama, retiring after 30 years. While in Jacksonville, William received his Masters at Jacksonville State University and remained a devoted alumni, attending all of the JSU football and basketball games that he could. He had a strong Christian faith and faithfully attended First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville where he served as deacon and elder and was a devoted choir director for 20 years. William is survived by his two daughters, Christie Allison Atkerson and Barrie Allison Hornbuckle; one sister, Betty Allison Lewis; four grandchildren, Liz, Erin, Logan and Mason and three great-grandchildren, Henry, Eva Cain and Samuel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his cousin, Faye Mitchell Blair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Blair Allison; a sister, Marynette Allison Whitlow and one grandson, Will Hornbuckle. Funeral services with Naval Honors for William Allison will be held at 2 p.m.on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Sharon A.R.P. Church, 3915 York Street, Sharon, South Carolina 29742. The family will receive visitors from 1:30 to 2 p.m. in the Sharon A.R.P. Church before the service. Memorials can be made to the Discretionary Fund at Sharon A.R.P. Church, 3915 York Street, Sharon, South Carolina 29742.

Frederik Anderson YORK - Frederik Olaff Anderson, 78, born in Jakarta Java Indonesia, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 24, 2015. He is survived by five sisters; three daughters, Regina M. Anderson-Howard, Jacqueline P. Anderson, Xanthe J. Calzadilla; three sons, Roderick M. V. Anderson, Richard A. L. Anderson and John A. D. Anderson; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren to mourn his loss.
