John L. Joseph ROCK HILL - Mr. John Lee Joseph, 76, of 1489 Highcrest Way, Rock Hill, S.C., passed on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill, S.C. Mr. John Lee Joseph, son of the late Mr. Jay Joseph and Mrs. Ella Bell McCoy Joseph, was born on January 20, 1938, in York County and gained his wings on December 16, 2014. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Boy Joseph, James Joseph, J.C. Joseph and daughter, Wanda Joseph. Mr. John Lee Joseph leaves his precious memories of 26 years to his devoted wife and caregiver, Vanessa "Diane" Joseph of Rock Hill, S.C.; daughters, Johnika Joseph and Sylvia Joseph of Rock Hill, S.C., Arkella Washington of Va.; sons, Jonathan Joseph (Delaina) of Houston, Texas, Christopher Robinson (Natalie), of Charlotte, N.C., Demtruis Robinson (Margaret) and John G. Joseph (Tanya) of Rock Hill, S.C.; a grandson whom he raised in the home, Jayce Joseph of Rock Hill, S.C. and a brother, Sammie Joseph of Rock Hill, S.C. Visitation will be held from 12 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Parker Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Pineville AME Zion Church at 4200 York Highway in Rock Hill, S.C. The Reverend Jawwad Love will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Patricia Anne Lowery is survived by her husband, William Lowery Jr. of Rock Hill, S.C.; son, Kelvin Lowery; step-daughter, Wanda Wilson, both of Rock Hill, S.C.; brother, Lewis S. Archie of Buffalo, N.Y.; two grand-children and one great-grand-child. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Parker Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Rock Hill, S.C. The Reverend Jawwad Love will officiate. Burial will be in the chu-rch cemetery. Turner, Sadie Matthews  
Sadie Matthews Turner ROCK HILL - Mrs. Sadie Matthews Turner, 97, of 1915 Ebenezer Road, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Saturday, December 6, 2014, at White Oak Manor. Mrs. Turner was born in Chester County, S.C. and was the daughter of the late Lawrence D. Matthews Sr. and the late Lillie McKeown Matthews. She was a charter member of Epworth Untied Methodist Church and retired as a supervisor with Smith Enterprises. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Turner; her brother, L. D. Matthews Jr.; her sister, Evelyn Matthews and one grandchild, R. Pride Turner. A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Turner will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel with the Revs. Irvin Plowden Jr. and Mike Catoe officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Private burial will be held. Mrs. Turner is survived by her sons, James "Joe" J. Turner and his wife, M'Ellen Gordon of Atlanta, Ga. and Richard "Rick" D. Turner and his wife, Libby of McBee, S.C.; her daughter, Susan T. Conrad and her husband, Robbie of Rock Hill; her sister, Doris Allen of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Paige T. Luke (Robert), Noel C. Turner (Holly), Brooke C. Kimbrell (Dillion) and R. Drew Conrad (Jill Flint); her great-grandchildren, Gray Lu-ke, Sutton Luke, Christian Turner, Kimrey Turner, Jackson Turner, Peyton Kimbrell and Piper Kimbrell; her step-grandchildren, Sally D. Anderson (Harris), Leslie D. Echols (Jonathan), David L. Daniel and Elizabeth D. Rhoades (Sean) and her step-great-grandchildren, Ethan B. Echols, Molly L. Anderson, Addie M. Echols, Gus F. Anderson and Nolan D. Echols. Williams, Robert Harold  
Robert H. Williams SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - Robert Harold Williams, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina on October 12, 1939, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2014. He was in the U.S.A.F. for 26 years, retiring as a MSGT in 1985. He also went on to retire from Air Force Civil Service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Odell Williams and Ella Lee Pursley Williams. He is survived by his children, LeAnne K. Williams, Steven V. Williams and their families. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. All services will be at Castle Ridge Mortuary, followed by interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Bennett, James Franklin - Tega Cay  
James F. Bennett TEGA CAY, S.C. - James Frankin Bennett (Jim) of Tega Cay, S.C. passed away on December 17, 2014, at CMC Pineville on the 37th wedding anniversary to his wife. He was born September 2, 1939, in Charlotte to the late Jesse Edgar Bennet and Mildred Hamrick Bennett. He graduated from Central High School in 1957, attending N.C. State College, served in the Air Force and was an instructor in aeronautics at UNCC. Upon joining Atlantic Richfield Oil Company he worked his way up through the ranks and became a Captain, flying the company top management all over the globe. He flew six presidents and many movie stars. He lived in California a number of years and upon retirement chose to return to the south, moving to Tega Cay, S.C. He was an active member of Fort Mill Baptist Church. Jim was an avid golfer at Tega Cay and will be missed by his golfing buddies. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carolyn Bennett; his sister, Carole B. Kinzie of Fort Mill, S.C.; his children, son, Scott Bennett (Stacey), Beth Israel (Richard) and son Christopher were the loves of his life. He has four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. His service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Fort Mill First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow Monday at 2 p.m. December 22, 2014, at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. Christman, Schoen M.  
Schoen Christman CHESTER - Schoen M. Christman, age 48, of Chester, died suddenly and unexpectedly December 17, 2014. Schoen loved his job at G & W Equipment of Charlotte and Columbia. He was a thirteen year U. S. Army veteran and served in Operation Desert Storm. His memorial service will be conducted by the Reverend Eric Shepard at 7 o'clock p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 101 York Street in Chester on Monday December 22, 2014. Schoen is survived by his wife, Tammy O'Neal Christ-man of the home; parents, Loren R. and Joanne Shafer Christman of Chester; three children, Jason, Joshua and Jenna Christman, all of Rock Hill and paternal grandmother, Bernice Beech Christman of Cobleskill, N.Y. Schoen enjoyed dirt track racing as a hobby and drove in the #69 car in the Super Street division at Lancaster, Carolina and I-77 Speed-ways. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 751, Chester, SC 29706.
