STANLEY, N.C. - Thomas Brian Stroupe, 40, of 305 4th St., died Sept. 22, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
He was born in Lincoln County, was preceded in death by a brother Travis Stroupe, and worked in the commercial construction industry.
Survivors include his mother, Patti Small Armstrong and stepfather, Mike of New Port Richey, Fla.; his father, Thomas Stroupe and stepmother, Vicki, of Rock Hill, S.C.; a daughter, Heather Stroupe of Lincolnton; a grandchild, Keilan Stroupe; stepchildren, Shelby and Josh Ward; stepgrandchildren, Bailey Marritt and Caden Riddle; and his grandmother, Pat Small of Stanley.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly, N.C. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
