Craig "Wedge" Helms ROCK HILL - Mr. Craig Albert "Wedge" Helms, age 39, of Rock Hill, died Friday, July 31, 2015, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Wolfe Funeral Home, 314 Spratt Street, Fort Mill, SC 29715. The memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Kenneth Rabon officiating. Born in Rock Hill, Craig was a son of Sheryl Aycoth Helms Huey and the late David Albert "Dickie" Helms. He was a graduate of Indian Land High School and was employed with Terex in Rock Hill as an industrial painter. He loved his family and friends and would give up anything for them. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, restoring cars, painting, love of music, big Chevy trucks, cooking and the heritage of his confederate flag. His favorite saying was "Go Big or Go Home". Surviving are his wife, Jamy Downing Helms; his children, Ashton and Austin Helms and Destinee and Izabella Morrison, all of the home; his mother, Sheryl Aycoth Helms Huey and her husband, Sam of Lancaster; his brother, David Helms and his wife, Denise of Indian Land; his nephew, Daniel Helms; and his grandmother, Nettie Aycoth of Fort Mill. He was preceded in death by his father, David "Dickie" Helms, his maternal grandfather, Emmitt Aycoth; and his paternal grandparents, Albert and Louise Helms.
