Dorothy "Dot" Winn Crenshaw PEWEE VALLEY, Ky. - Dorothy "Dot" Winn Crenshaw, 89 years old, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at Friendship Health and Rehab in Pewee Valley, Ky. She was a member of Catawba Baptist Church (Rock Hill, S.C.) and prior to that a long-time member of First Baptist Church (Lancaster, S.C.). She found joy in doing crafts, listening to the radio and spending time with her family. She retired from the Rock Hill Telephone Company in 1984, where she worked as a switchboard operator for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys Winn; her husband, Franklin B. Crenshaw; her son, Thomas Franklin Crenshaw; and 10 siblings. Dot is survived by her sisters, Jean Bishop (Roy) and Evelyn Mitchum; brothers, Arlen Winn (Louvenia) and Clifford Winn (Brenda); daughter-in-law, Miriam Crenshaw; granddaughter, Winn Wheeler (David); and great-grandsons, Thomas and Matthew Wheeler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A memorial celebration of Dot's life will be 2 p.m., June 29, 2014, at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home 700 Heckle Blvd. Rock Hill, S.C., with interment in Lancaster Memorial Park, 1389 Memorial Park Road, Lancaster, S.C.
