ROCK HILL - Mr. Lewis Larry Hutchison Sr., 61, of 707 S. Confederate Avenue, Rock Hill, S.C., died, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center.

He was born on July 14, 1951, in Rock Hill, S.C., to the late Edward Hutchison and Thelma Hutchison. He graduated Emmett Scott High School in 1969, and attended Winthrop College. He was a licensed electrician and owner of A.A.L.E. Electric. He was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife, Audrey Hutchison of York, S.C.; sons, Lewis L. Hutchison Jr. and Malcolm Howard, both of Columbia, S.C., and Pherron Hutchison of York; daughter, Andrea “Tear” Hutchison of York; sister, Selma Hutchison-Taylor “Mikel” of Greensboro, N.C., and Brenda France of Huntersville, N.C.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aunt, Emma Hutchison of Rock Hill; special friends, Miss Jimmie Delores Potts and John “Freddie” Hemphill; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Parker Funeral Home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Cross Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Minnie Durham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
